Let's summarise the fun times I've had!

I've been so busy lately... with work... with stuff that will perhaps affect my future greatly... 'SOUL SEARCHING' --- it's certainly something that is not easy... Next 3 weeks will be filled with anxiety... A'lvls... interview... resultS... I guess what that's keeping me going and calm is hope.. and faith... ... You'll have no idea how I'm feeling right now... -lost in myself-.. haha.. !!! watever... put that aside... and let's recall some fun times! =D

Outing with cousin:

To the esplanade roof top!!! Really really nice place to go to and talk about everything under the sky! .. haha! =D I totally enjoy the view and atmosphere there!! =D ate at Thai Express! =D After dinner, my cousin brought me to Harry's Bar!!! was really scared to enter at first... coz I'm not even sure if it's safe... sooo... I drank a non-alcoholic drink.. =D but there was a live performance there!!! I looovvveee the songs they sing!!! ... reached home a few min before 12 again... and my mom'll give me this look AGAIN!! .. HAHAHA!!!

Dance lesson at ATTITUDE:

Lyrical Jazz... and it is super boring.. haha... didn't get to learn any nice dances so I decided that I won't go again... well... but the intensive warm-up really tired me out completely... giving me muscle aches the very next day... first time I actually EXERCISED after soooo long!

Family gathering:

To the botanical gardens... lame rite??? ... well... anyways... the 2 little cousins kept me busy and brightened up the atmosphere there too!.. haha.. botanical gardens is actually quite a good place for family bonding !! =D ... had a really nice dinner that day... visited the Orchid Garden etc. etc. =) and I treated almost everyone to ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D .. now that I'm working.. haha! =D

Trip to ICES (at Jurong Island):

ok... this was emo-ish... I went back to visit my research mentor and end off my attachment with ICES... bought him the England's finest biscuits from dempsey (and it's really nice.. haha.. I like it myself!)

I always felt so welcome whenever I return to ICES... the level of encouragement.. smiles.. that the pple there give me made me feel as though this is my second home.. I almost cried when I left the building...

haha.. I took pictures when I was in the bus... on my way out of jurong island... and the bus driver must have thought that I was crazy or something!! Can't believe I had sooo much feelings for jurong island!!! I must have been crazy... but I guess that's where I was given the opportunity to try out something that I really like... and enjoy... Yar... I hope to be able to go back some day =D

Went for lunch with NG after that... the serving was just soooo big and I'll never be able to finish it.. haha!!! anyways.. thanks for the lunch! =D

Back to school... for a meeting...

Then to dental.. to get my braces out!!! =D ... I felt as though I had no teeth! .. haha.. ok.. maybe i'm beginning to miss my braces.. haha.. as for now... no one is to look at my teeth!!! .. until I get them REALLY white!!! HAHA! =D

A perfect day to find out more about CHEMISTRY! =D .. went to the NTU talk myself to find out more about chem eng and chemistry... met kevin, van and my dance friends there! =D ... so I wasn't lonely after all...

Went shopping with my dance friend and some new found friends...

Reached home at around 11 plus and my whole family gave me this look... hahaha!!! they're crazy lar.. !!! =D

Alright... off to cousin's party now!!! =D but before that... pizza for lunch! =D

let's see... it's been a week already... sooo many things happened.. soo busy with work... soo tired.. and soo little time for myself... ...

Anyways... last friday was camp fire night! ... NG and KZ came too... and... we played ... er hem... 'board games' at the roof top... the 5 of us.. including jess and FW.. hahaha.. let's hope we don't get into trouble... :)

Then... we went back to the staff room... shortly after... we were greeted by some mysterious person... and all at the same time... the lights in the staff room went off!!! ... ahhh!!! scary..................

More fun times!

Life in the staff room has been rather entertaining lately...

Before assembly.. when you are half awake at your desk.. Suddenly.. Mr Yong arrives and started becoming high over soccer!! Even teachers began to amuse themselves with their self-made chinese new year deco... After lessons... ffw and ain would just like TOTALLY go crazy... haha... I won't even bother describing the things they did!!! hmm.. though I'm kind of the youngest amongst them.. I sometimes feel otherwise!! =D Hahaha... but it was fun =D

Work has been alright so far =) just a couple of presentations to prepare.. boards to design... and papers to mark... etc..

CNY celebration in school:

Teachers were given free oranges!!! =D .. If I had known I wouldn't have brought.. =) Anyways.. now there's like this whole plastic bag of oranges on my desk and I hope they'll still be in a bearable condition when I get back on wed.. :/

Nic Goh and Kevin went back too... and I guess they were the only 2 that greeted Mrs Cheng OUT LOUD! .. and ya.. how did you all know that day was my birthday ar?? funny lar! how come I dun even know?? =)

Played orientation games with Ms Ang's class... Double Wacko with an Umbrella!!!!! {OUCH} The funniest part was when ffw distracted this girl by making her pose for a pic... hahahaa.. sad.. sabo-ed her partner... ...

Wanted to go back to Crescent... but sadly it was too late already =( ... soo... we decided to go out for lunch and shopping instead.. Lunch was at some teppanyaki place in Cine... We were like talking halfway and suddenly a HUGE fire appeared in front of us!!! Shock of our lives!!!!

Post New Year Prep:

Went to the salon... trying to make my hair SLIGHTLY neater and not so messy.. haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways... I went shopping in NTUC all by myself !!!!! [first time man!! Coz my mom went to do her hair too... =.=] while my brother and father went for badminton =.= ... anyways... It was quite fun!! shopping in NTUC by myself... pushing that huge cart and carrying a shopping list and a pen!! .. hahaha... I'm like 10 times more efficient than my mom because I dun take sooooo long to choose a pack of 60 cents vegetable! ... lol... because of this... I was kinda late for class dinner :/ ...

Ate at fish and co... at the glass house... after that... went walking around in Plaza Sing for a while.. then... played some cards at the coffee club and had a light supper =D

First class outing in the Year 2009... ...
The 'class size' is already beginning to diminish as more and more of us step into NS..
This photo... it really have a different feel and I guess all of us look SLIGHTLY more mature now.. =)
Dinner was at NYDC... and it was freezing cold in there...
Post-dinner activity was relaxing... we played some games... sang some songs... talked.. etc..

Well... I hope we'll keep in touch still alright.. =)

School's STILL the best!

School's been FUN so far! =D

Though I haven't exactly started with teaching yet.. but it was STILL not as boring as I had imagined...

Just look at what I did today! :

• Went for morning assembly
• Had breakfast from 8 -10 am !!!!!
• Work a while...
• and before we knew it.. it was LUNCH TIME!
• Corner seats are REALLY condusive for slping... hahaha..
• Work a little more.. [haha.. it wasn't exactly work actually.. more on upgrading of my Microsoft Words skill :/ahh.. !!! ]
• AND..... before I know it.. time to go!!! =D
  

Yesterday? :

• Went down to the biopolis with some students..
• I gotta direct the bus driver to the place coz he didn't know how to go.. and neither did I ... so I was practising my 'reading signboard' skill? [HAHA.. thankfully it wasn't that bad.. =D ]
• There were talks on UK and US universities and it sort of made me regretted a bit not applying for US ... =(
• and I also begin to think whether I had applied for the right course.. oh man!!
• Suddenly felt stressed over scholarships and uni stuff..
  

First day of work:

• I didn't know I had to work that day..
• I thought I was juz going down to settle some admin stuff ..
• So I came in jeans and casual clothes... totally don't look like a relief teacher! :/
• Anyways.. I made new friends =D
• Mark papers.. and it's an experience man!
• Sneak into NJ's hostel and we ALMOST bumped into Ms Sharon Phua :/ ..

wow... time actually flies in work... talking about A'lvl stuff during lunch and breakfast really made me feel so scared!! .. I cannot imagine how I'll feel on that day.. [just before the announcement of the results] ...
