life is busy...

Wednesday:

Went shopping with Charlene at Raffles City, Suntec and Marina Square... It was really my record so far [coz i bought 2 items that day!! =D]

Thursday:

Went to lynette's house and the curry chicken was really really nice =D [thanks a lot for that!!]
Went shopping with my parents later in the night and i was seriously falling asleep... so it wasn't productive at all.. haha...

Friday:

Went for A*STAR seminar in the morning and it was really inspirational... this Australian associate professor was like teaching us how to make billions of dollars with research... HAHA!!! he was really really funny though... he spoke with an Australian accent: 'I am going to teach you how to make billions of dollars... it's easy... all you need is an idea... [that sells] ... so now... i'm going to share with you my idea... but... you can't possibly steal it coz otherwise... I CAN SUE YOU...' [laughs] ... ... and this is how he ended off... 'so anyone interested in this area of research?... give me a call.. and we can make billion of dollars together!!' ... [first time I heard from a researcher that is soooo funny] ... and his definition of being a researcher - It's cool... coz you'll get to do all the COOL stuff... =D

Had a tour at Fusionworld in the Fusionopolis... it's really really exciting... =D ... there were like 60 technologies that were so fresh and enlightening.. I saw the 'future home' .. the 'future workplace' ... the 'future medical facilities' ... wow!!!!!!!!

Visited the Institute of High Performance Computing [IHPC]... haha.. hmm... that's not really my area of interest... anyway... learn many new stuff from there too =D

Went out with my research friend... for a movie - [body of lies] ... hmm... i dun really understand it though.. haha.. plot too complicated... had dinner at pasta mania .. talked about some research stuff... and i was feeling tired.. so i went home early.. to rest...

Looking back... I can conclude that my life after A levels is sooo much busier compared to when i was studying for A's... and surprisingly... i'm more tired too... slp later... etc... so ironical...

Marina Barrage

On tuesday:

Visited the Marina Barrage in the evening... It's a really really nice place.. nice sceneries and the breeze is so refreshing... [perfect place to emo too... lol! - for those pple who love emoing...]

Anyway... this is a new reservoir that they are building... trying to make Singapore self-sufficient... there are nine crest gates and seven drainage pumps to manage the water level... many interesting things to learn from there... there's a pump house too ... but it's not yet ready..

... Life after A's =D

yesterday night... [or rather early this morning] was hilarious...

Anyway... went out with Jamie yesterday for some shopping... and we had a nice chat at Carl's Junior... finally ate the beef chilli fries.. [first time!] =) ... opps... and i spent too much money till i was like left with 6 dollars to last for the rest of the day.. trying to 'manage my finance' as proposed by kevin and that's why i didn't bring much $$$ out that day ... then in the end not enough money!! ...

Proceeded to Vivo City later to meet some of my Sec school friends.. and guess what... went shopping for their prom dresses.. [haha.. i feel like nowadays i keep going around shopping for pple's prom dresses..lol] ... i still got lots of stuff to buy!!! haha!! ... well... it was quite fun shopping with them anyway... wondering why jazlyn likes ' bright green dresses' so much?!?!?! [*laughs*]

Dinner was at Pepper lunch... [emptied my pockets...]

Then we went out to see some lights and talked a while before going back home =D

Got 'stung' by the stingray... indirectly.. so now I look like Rudolf... [the red nose raindeer]

Had dinner yesterday at Newton Food centre.. and it kept raining [or rather drizzling]... then my mom keep wanting to change seats so I had to carry this huge coconut around... lol...

Went for dental later in the night... and sigh... i can't take out my braces yet =((((( .... need 2 more visits!!! Oh man! ... I wished my teeth could like move faster or something...

Going out again... [when will I get to rest? - HAHA!] Nevermind... i rather go out then stay at home anyway =) ... juz that today I gotta go out with a swollen nose [argh... think i'm really allergic to seafood =(]

... Life after A's =D

I had a really wonderful day yesterday... It feels as though the times we spent in Crescent were back again... Our hectic JC/IB lives has set us apart for two years... with each and everyone of us going our separate ways.. I was so afraid that time can drift us apart... but yesterday has reassured me that we can remain as close friends again =) ... It was really a wonderful feeling... =D

We met at cine leisure to catch a movie... [high school musical 3] ... found out that it was Eileen's favourite movie.. haha! [even her bookmark had a high school musical design!!] I thought I was the only few who like it.. The movie was really nice!! [though the plot was rather simple] .. I like the songs they sang.. especially the duets.. it's really really.. .. how should I put it? [enchanting?] haha... oh... and I like the dance too... it's called 'the last waltz' ... Ball dancing is really nice... I heard they had that in London... [really hope I could go there=)] and experience it myself.. haha!

Oh.. and we met Jessica there too!!! in the theatre... and they were sitting just beside us... haha!!!!! lol!!!

Then... we went shopping... for prom dresses =) ... Eileen as usual... [is so stubborn!!!] ... ask her to shop she stood at 'Daniel Yam' shop to read her story book... oh well... CMI man!!

Dinner was at Swensenz... ate the Salmon Bake rice and it was soooo delicious!! =D Kailing and Meily were there too... [to make a whole lot of noise again!!!] ...

We then went to TCC to celebrate eileen's birthday!!! bought the cake for her then in the end must force her to eat some more.. lol! .. Michelle and I figured that the cake tasted nice.. haha.. so we 'help' her eat a bit =P

Wow!! I really felt great that day... It has been a long time since we had so much fun together... Looking forward for more outings.. haha.. like going to Michelle's house to bake after prom =) [coz my oven spoiled..=(] .. and to sentosa!! =) [k.. this time i won't wear jeans anymore =)]
