post prelim life has been rather eventful =D ... Here are some reflections =D :


Thursday:

Went out for shopping with the girls.. but before that went for lunch with my parents first =D ... Shopping at Far East Plaza was quite fun... though I didn't buy anything coz I can't figure out how am I ever going wear those 'interesting' kind of tops and dresses they sell there... We then proceeded to Wisma and then to taka for more shopping...

After that, we decided to join the guys for dinner at vivo.. was really sad that we couldn't go sentosa though... i've always been hoping that i'll get to go there after prelims.. well.. nvm.. We reached there really early so we decided to go to the bookstore to entertain ourselves first... hmmm... the last time I read a book was like in Sec 4 when I took literature... quite pathetic now that i think of it... As I walked around the bookstore... I was trying to find an interesting book but couldn't in the end.. what I found was a nice corner sit with a sea view... could see sentosa and the sunset from there too... haha..that made me happy for a while.. soooo... i decided to grab a nearby book but i realized it was a bad idea coz I was at the business section... anyway... in the end.. i juz took a book from the nearby lit section and went back there to read =) ... [arh.. the book was boring =(... but the view was nice =) ]


Met the guys later at the roof top... and we juz had to play truth and dare of all the games available.. I think it is a really scary game... haha.. fun only when I get to watch others play =D ... I rather play hide and seek or catching or something.. haha!!!!!!!!!! went home real late that day... but it was sure fun =DDD




Saturday:


Went out with Jaz to IMM [coz we decided that it's nearer to our house] .. haha.. so... we talked and catch up with each other after a really really long time... =D

Friday [today]:

It's my mom's birthday.. went out at night =) ... We went to the esplanade to enjoy some nice sceneries and music and ambience etc. etc.. and ate at this korean resturant... and the food there was really nice... i think it's the first time I'm eating korean food... so still not use to eating the pickles and the other cold dishes... aside from tat ... the main dish was nice =)

Took a walk along Singapore River... I seriously dunno why my mom likes Singapore River so much.. anyway... I read in the papers today that Singapore River had some under water lights so I was attempting to find it... haiz.. but couldn't in the end... so sad... anyway... we walked till clarke quay [which was really really far away... ] yup.. and by the time we reached home it was really late... haha... and I'm like still not tired and that's precisely why I'm doing this now...



Ok... I figured that it's really late now so i better get going =D

Prelims is finally over! =D

I have been waiting for this day to come for weeks... =D

We had a class outing today... 23 of us went for lunch at Cafe Cartel... [that was almost perfect attendance la! super cool!] .. oh... and the funny thing was that Marvin was actually trying to cut a huge bone!!!!! omg!... I wonder wat he was thinking then la!!!

Next was shopping! =D [at Suntec and Marina Square] ... hmmm.. but sadly I wasn't really in a mood for shopping... coz aside from being super tired, my bag was really heavy and I really dunno why because all I brought was calculators, pencil case, and a few sheets of notes =D

The bus trip back home was so long ... ... but luckily got lynette to accompany and entertain me =D i then went to Kai Ling's house for a while... juz to pass her her super belated birthday present... and omg... another half an hour of bus trip!!! .. and the return journey was even worse because of the jam!! .. haha! I can't believe I actually spent more than 2 hrs on bus trips today!!!!!!!!!!

Reached home finally... and found out from the news that they launched the 'high speed atom collision experiment' today!!!... super cool la! 1000 scientists was involved in this experiment and they have spent 20 yrs building that extensive underground structure to run this experiment.. I really hope they find something interesting [like maybe atoms can be broken down into smaller entities!! =)]

Tml we'll be going shopping again.. and hopefully to sentosa[my favourite place =P] after that =DD ... I'm so excited! =D

first few days of hols =D

Prelim's not yet over... but I have been slacking a lot for the past few days... =( ... it's juz so hard to get myself to sit down and study these days... I'm still in a holiday mood =) and that's bad!

Well... Iwent out the whole day on Mon and Tues =D ... After four hours of tuition on Mon.. I was supposed to visit my cousin... but in the end didn't coz he needed to rest... so... we went to the toy museum instead... [nothing much actually] ... next ... we went shopping! Shopping at centre point was quite fun =) got some stuff for myself =D ... =P ...

On tuesday after chem... i told myself that i'll go home and study... attempted though.. for about one hour.. before my parents asked me whether I want to go watch my brother play badminton... He has badminton competition [known as Cheers competition] that day... sooo... i went =D ... haha!! couldn't resist the temptation... [gotta postpone my study again] ... in the end he won =D ... so means tml have to go again... hmmm... Dinner was at Newton's food centre... and we had lobster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D yeah... it was really a great day! =D

Trip to the bird park

Supposed to go to the zoo today... but end up going to the bird park instead.. haha.. well... it was quite fun anyway... Here are some pictures =)

Thursday:

It's the so called 'last day' of prelims.. haha.. anyway I was super happy =) ... finally can take a short break after so much studying... well... the first thing I did after prelims is to go and cut my hair.. =D I haven't cut for a really long time and the hair stylist was complaining how messy it is... he even told me that I must cut at least once in 2 months... [funny ar.. like that my hair will keep getting shorter and shorter!!! - must teach him convergence series =) ]

Next... I met up with the rest of the girls at IMM to make teachers day present... By the time I reached there they already finish buying all the stuff... so I juz go there and help decorate =) Here's a picture of us there =D :

It's been a really long time since I last touch art... Use to love it when I was younger... but now there's hardly any time for me to do art... kind of sad though.... anyway... here's the end result =D .. quite nice actually =)

When I reached home.. I had to rush through my personal statement because the deadline is tml... =( ... wrote for many hours and I was super tired... in the end slept at around 2 am.. [so frustrating =(] ...

Friday:

It's teacher's day!!!! =) Supposed to meet at 7 am to write messages... but in the end couldn't wake up in time =P ... haha.. too tired =) .. We skipped assembly for the first time I think... and Lynette was like super scared that we'll get caught [the typical 'guai' girl =D ] ..

ohhh... and the highlight of the day was when we go around to give out the frames to our teachers... =D ... the guys were juz so funny when they gave their well wishes to them... and I could not help but laugh... Mr. Song attempted in vain to quieten them down but to no avail =D ... oh... and it's the first time I see Mr Yong so happy... Mr Wee too... dunno why he was hiding in the sigma lab =P ... the funniest was when we presented to Mr Chow... when kevin came up with his 'wu yun mi bu' and etc. etc.... SUPER FUNNY!!!!! omg..

So... after we left school.. Wendy and I had to go for tuition... while the rest went shopping at VIVO .. we joined them later for a movie entitled 'Wall-E' ... ok... i had to say it is quite an interesting movie with robotic concept and super imaginative plot.. but then I had a headache after trying to figure out wat on earth are the robots doing etc... omg... so confusing... luckily i had enough food.. I'm like having a picnic in the theatre.. haha.. nachos and burger king stuff =) ... first time nvr slp when i watch movie.. coz got food =)

Oh well... went plaza Sing after that with my parents..

Then to the dental clinic and waited like 1 hr plus there... fell asleep while waiting.. i was really really tired then... couldn't help =)
