Reflection

Yeah!!! It's finally the last day of year 2007!!! oh.. and before i continue with everything... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARVIN!!!

Time really flies this year... from the fun and memorable Orientation to the dreadful tutorials and lectures... project work... and research [now how should i describe that? Interesting? Dry? Eye-opener? - a bit of each i guess] Well... not forgetting my best ever CCA - dance!!!! And in the last lap of the year.. harmoc came into my life... played the keyboard for them at yesterday's concert.. an accomplishment!!! for i love to play piano and perform... =) Hmmm... but my dear cousin is still in the hospital.. must stay strong and keep fighting kayz? Remember that!!

Well... exactly five hours more to the new year... My hopes and dreams for next year are as follows:

1. Excel in my studies... haha... esp GP and Econs... [need to like work harder for these 2 subjects]
2. Opportunities to dance... Aristal!!
3. More class bonding =)
4. Smooth-sailing for my research presentations and exams..
   
5. Most importantly... have fun!!! haha... despite all the studying and mugging that needs to be done... well.. it can be done in a fun way too i suppose.. juz have not figured out how yet... and class outings of course...
   
6. Last but not least... for my cousin to recover...
   

Next year might pass even faster.. before we knew it ... we all will be sitting for the nerve-wrecking A 'lvls exams.. Grad night will soon follow-suit after that..

365 days more in JC before all of us will part again... each to our separate ways to fulfill our dreams and wishes... nevertheless.. i hope we can all still keep in contact.. for i must say that JC life has generally been very enjoyable for me... and I also hope that all of us could treasure the rest of JC life and spend our time to the fullest!! .. Well... Juz want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!!!

oh well... it's a really really tiring day today... went for dance in the morning... it's was ok at first.. until Wendy start to torture us with this split exercise thing that coz my whole leg to numb and hurt like mad!! haha... ok la... quite good training though... but OUCH!!!!! painful man!!! haha... dance today was 30% practicing, 50% talking and slacking [*smiles*], and 20% dancing =) ... [felt very sleepy actually coz sleep really late the night before... was watching snow white and the seven dwarfs... hmmm... ok this is a little ridiculous... deprived of childhood?] well...

Then came harmonica practice... err... kinda bad with the keys today... made several serious mistakes... partly due to the wind... keep blowing my scores!! [*frowns*] and when i solve the wind problem... then came two flies, which i totally have no idea how to get rid of it... sigh... hope instructor won't be angry though...

Went home... practice, practice and practice!!! haha... really don't hope to make mistake that day... really hope that there isn't much wind too... and most important of all FLIES FREE!! haha.. performance this Sunday at Plaza Sing... feeling a bit scared man!!!... HELP!... haha... nvm

School is reopening soon... still have unsettled stuff though...
1) research log book to complete
2) grammer book [the most ridiculous hm wk!]
3) finalizing of all research stuff... report, poster, ppt etc.

kayz... so better go settle them now.. haha... erm... but think i'll eat my super super late dinner first =)

So.. can master's master be one of us...? unlikely... coz i believe we'll know how to spell both their names perfectly... but still.. we'll never know =)

- He's a guy, somebody's cousin and somebody son

[i know too.. it's the only number between a square number and a cubic number]

so... what does this tells us... i know who master is ... haha.. OBVIOUSLY!! .. if not i won't be writing this =)

- Because Kevin had wrote that message earlier... [smart move... but Vanessa checked that out already]

Eventful Days =))))

Past few days have been rather eventful... going out for the whole day [maybe not exactly.. coz i woke up at like average 12pm everyday.. ] hmmm.. let's see... =)

21st Dec:

Woke up real early for i have to go to school for dance and harmoc... dance was fun...!!! finally... my dance friends came back from overseas and research and we could have a small reunion again... oh ya.. and a warm welcome to all Juniors!!! =) ... When Jamie messaged me... it's time to leave dance a while for harmoc's combine practice... =) played the piano... i sounded barely tolerable i guess haha... well... but anyway... i must really thank all the harmoc people for singing me a surprise birthday song =)... THANKS so much!!!!!!!!!!! and thx to ngiam for the chocolates... tasted really nice =)... and thank you Jamie too for the gift!!!! it's really sweet and pleasant and i really liked it a lot.. =)...

When dance and harmoc ends... went paragon for shopping... ... then home to make Christmas presents =)...

22nd Dec:

It's my birthday!!! ... Couldn't sleep for the whole night...!! SMSes keep on coming in and waking me up now and then... But anyway... thanks to all that remembered and i really really appreciate it... haha... but try to take note of the timing a bit huh?? hahazzz... Went out to celebrate with my dance friends when i woke up which is like already 12pm... Coz someone else in dance had the same birthday as me!!!---[han xie] Had lunch at Swensens [in Bugis Junction].. and free ice-cream after that =)... oh.. and thanks to some peoples' perfect planning we had to finish our lunch and ice cream in barely 15 minutes coz the guys book tickets for the movie 'The National Treasure' at 2.45pm... we started eating only at 2.30pm... Well... the show was great... never knew treasure hunting could be so cool and adventurous... perhaps some day if i had the chance i'll go for one too.. XD.. yeah!!! next dance camp let's organize treasure hunting..!!

Decided to go to suntec city after that for shopping... really pity the guys.. coz they had to like stand outside the shop to wait for us for nearly an hour... oh gosh!!!... i don't even think i'll have such patience if i was a guy... haha... well ... after that... it's time for some of us to go back home... attempting to get to the bus stop outside suntec... we crossed a few rather dangerous roads with Desmond's help... include climbing over some fence... wow!!! i swear i'll like never dare to do that again coz it's super super dangerous and my mom will like kill me if she knew about it... luckily... we accomplished that safely =) ...

Yup... i then arrive at Plaza Sing to meet my parents.. had dinner at Crystal Jade... and................ still don't feel like going home...yupp... so... we went to Mount Faber Safra Club to play pool =)... my brother and i played... apparently my brother seemed to have special luck that day such that he can shoot several consecutive unintentional trick shots in a row... Shockingly impressive i must say... haha.. well.. when the clock strikes twelve.. it's time for us to go home... [opps... forgot that we still have a cake in the fridge awaiting for us to cut...] guess have to leave that for tml =)

Pride and Prejudice

watch this show again... for the fifth time this year! But i'll never get bored by it.. at least not yet... it is not exactly the plot that has driven me to like it so much.. it is however the eloquence in the way they speak that captured my undivided attention.. the power of language perhaps... it has deceived me, caused me to be drawn blindly into a supposingly plain plot only enhanced by the splendour of their spoken english.

The story is writtened by Jane Austen. The five Bennet sisters have all been raised by their mother with one purpose in life - finding a husband. However the second eldest, Miss Elizabeth Bennet, could find 100 reasons not to marry. When Mrs Bennet hears the exciting news that a wealthy bachelor and his circle of sophisticated friends are to take up summer residence in a nearby massion the Bennets are abuzz with the hope that potential suitors will be full in supply. Obligingly, the newcomer, Mr Charles Bingley, is immediately taken with the eldest Jane. When Elizabeth meets up with the darkly handsome and snobbish but conveniently rich Mr Darcy, what seems like a match made in heaven quickly becomes divided by pride and prejudice. From the very moment Elizabeth met him, his arrogance, conceit, disdain for the feelings of others made her realized that he was the last man in the world that she could ever be prevailed upon to marry........................................................... But eventually, she was overruled and found a reason to marry Mr Darcy.

Perhaps i should comment on how much i admire Miss Elizabeth Bennet... she displayed self-confidence, positive form of pride... voice diligent remarks ever so confidently in front of far more sophisticated personnels than her.. regarding on how she had captured the heart of Mr Darcy [perhaps it will be far more clearer for one to watch it for himself] .. wished i had the talent of speaking so openly to people whom i've never met before or only for the first time in my life... well... it might not be a born talent but i believe it could be cultivated to a certain extent... Practice? [if it does help at all...]

The music - piano forte... was indeed a perfect choice for the play.. it was able to instill much feelings within me and made me relate perfectly to whatever that was meant to be brought out in the movie.. pure classic.. really feel like learning how to play that song now... [perhaps one day when i'm free i'll drop by esplanade's library and borrow the scores]

The scenery - Picturesque view of the fresh greeneries, mountains and the clear blue sky blended together in perfect harmony... viewed from a rocky cliff... if i could one day be given the opportunity to be at such a place, seeing for myself whatever that appears in front of my eyes.. i will gladly like to know how exactly will i feel then...

wow... i'm at a super duper dreamy state now and perhaps it's really time for me get some sleep.. [and dream =) ]
