STAR symposium

Star symposium is a day where all of us get an opportunity to present our research projects to the teachers, professors, and students in NJC. It marked the completion of our research project. To me.. it feels like a great achievement and there's really this sense of satisfaction within me. Well.. it gave me more opportunities to practise presenting and yup... it gave me more self-confidence too =)

When i first step into research last year.. there was this feeling of stress within me that was so disturbing.. there were many problems that needs to be solved and many complications throughout the entire journey... i was like a 'blur sotong' for the first few weeks... hardly knowing anything that i'm instructed to do.. But the light of research is only seen after i found out the purpose of doing this research project.. from then on... i finally got the whole picture and began to understand what i'm doing.. and ya... it's kinda interesting only then..

I went through the struggle.. i've forgone many opportunities (e.g. Aristal and attending concerts from other CCA) ... but i'm just glad to say that it ended quite well anyway =)

Reunion dinner was great... the food was great =) that's the most important part i guess.. and also... i finally got a chance to chat with all my cousins.. it's really been a long time since i last chat with them.. for they are always so busy and i hardly meet them around even though they only stay one block away from me.. Two of them are already working!!.. and the youngest is the same age as me... =) But he's like 10 times smarter and more capable..!!! oh.. and the hamster you see above... that's my cousin's.. look really really cute and i love it.. but it bites though.. and that can get really really painful...

Went to my other cousin's house the first day of new year... hmm... but sad to say he wasn't feeling that well still... hope he can quickly recover... then we can play like how we used to play every year again =) ...

Well... the two baby cousins came too... Very adorable... but clinging as well.. coz they were like following me wherever i go... gets a little irritating sometimes... but i dun really mind though =)

The younger one reminds me of my brother when he was young.. how he used to follow exactly what i did everytime... even dancing... haha.. She too... always repeat whatever her sister says.. Maybe all children are like that =)

Hmm... after all the new year goodies and stuff.. my throat is getting a little sore le =( ... and i'm like sneezing the whole day today =(... super super uncomfortable... 2 more days to go before school starts again.. yup.. so better treasure 2 more days of relaxation before the work starts pouring in again..

But for now... guess what i need is a good nite sleep =)

Dance performance was great today... really really funny and enjoyable to watch... Well Done Juniors!! =)

Yay!! i finally felt so free from work again =) ... Felt really really happy today for some reason...

Bingo during maths lesson was really fun.. and it kinda made everyone hyper.. Still can't believe how Jared actually won 3 times... and Marvin thought he had some sort of a 'bingo code'... haha.. LOL..

Went for dance outing after school.. it was kinda like an impromptu decision... coz i was super prepared to go home already... but Jing Hui juz suddenly popped out and ask if we want to catch a movie..

Yup.. so we all went to Jurong East...

Watch some pple ice-skate while waiting for the movie (27 dresses) to start... and wow!! the little girls can all skate so so well... wish i had learnt.. and i'm still waiting for an ice-skating outing someday so i can ice-skate for the first time in my life.. sounds so fun!

'27 dresses' was quite nice la.. not exactly fantastic... but satisfactory... the only not so nice thing is the seat and basically the entire environment in the theatre... coz it's like so cramp... gave me a backache and made me giddy too =(...

CNY is finally coming... perfect time to put on lots and lots of weight... well... juz hope i won't fall sick after that though.. =) yup... and i can't wait to play with my baby cousins... coz they are ever so cute =)

Yeah! today feels great... and i hope tml will be better =) ... and so for all the other days yet to come... =)

it has been a really busy week again... the pace of life is really getting faster and faster... and if this is already wat we are experiencing in term one... i could hardly imagine life in the terms to come.. sigh... maybe J2 life is juz like that.. tests... and more tests... ... i really wish i could juz go out and enjoy myself totally, putting all the tests and everything behind.. (like go to the beach again and shout my heart out.. or juz simply go shopping without having to race against time...) Tell me... When will that day come...................??


Acceptance. Yupp... that's what i need.. So i'll juz leave the sad things behind...

Kayz... Last SUNDAY....

Mug like mad for the mechanics physics test on monday till i could literally feel my head burning... but not for long though.. coz soon after... i was forced out of the house by my mom to go shopping.. haha... Went to Far East Plaza.. Got 2 dresses and a pair of shoes... quite productive indeed... =)

Well i first thought that i'll be deprived of new clothes this year judging from the fact that i had very little time to shop.. but it appeared to me that i've actually over-shopped... perhaps forced shopping = increase productivity =)
